Tagwood BBQs vision is to share with the global community those unique sensations that arise while cooking around an open fire. Til this day, they can still vividly recall their grandparents and Father as they prepared their roasts, urging them to stay close by so we could soon savor the progress of the roast. Those bites held an unparalleled richness; they were fully aware of it and consistently emphasized that the most delectable treats were reserved for the barbecue assistants. They continue this tradition with their own children. To them, their Argentine grills embody the sentiment – fostering togetherness and facilitating sharing among our cherished ones. It's a cherished gift we bestow upon ourselves and an opportunity to connect through sharing.
They are designers and manufacturers of Tagwood BBQ grills and work with top materials and craftsmen, to accomplish one-of-a-kind designs, smooth grilling experience, and user-friendly cooking alternatives. They develop their products by observing real grillers using their products. Often, all add-ons or new features come to life because they put themselves in the shoes of the end consumer. Not only that, but they are also the toughest critics of our products, and they aim to always deliver an amazing experience.
Height-adjustable grates - This feature gives you the possibility to adjust the height of the grates to control the cooking temperature. Use the wheel to move the main grates up or down depending on what you need (closer to the coals = more heat to sear | away from coal = less heat for slow cooking). It is a feature that you will find in many South American barbecues because it allows you to really master the grill.
The firebox or brasero - The firebox or brasero: allows you to light up the wood or charcoal quicker and with less effort. It keeps the fire lit and away from the food. You can use firewood or charcoal or a combination of the two based on your preference. We recommend using lump charcoal and firewood. Once coals are ready, they will simply fall under. An easy and practical way to light up the fire and grill like a gaucho.
Firebricks - Help transmit less heat to the outside panels but also spread the heat evenly throughout the grill. This feature is well known in the Argentine grill. It is also a must-have because it extends the life of the charcoal grill.
Tagwood Argentine Santa Maria grills use top materials and craftsmen, to accomplish one-of-a-kind designs, smooth grilling experience, and user-friendly cooking alternatives.
